These two lines from the third track are so simple, yet so mighty. I absolutely love this split. Unforgiving, with ungodly episodes and devilish vocals but counterbalanced by acoustic songs that still keep a superbe, haunting atmosphere. The array of instruments and variations in style made me play it over and over again. Iresistible! @Fallenin77 many thanks 🎼🖤
Oh! And the cover is terrific, great artwork. Favorite track: Hounds Of The Shining One.

Fallenin77 🇬🇧 The presence of 𝕻𝖊𝖆𝖘𝖆𝖓𝖙 in this division is overwhelming... without a doubt "a dark pagan energy channeled through a violent medieval and melodic atmosphere." With a relentless instrumental and grotesque vocals, 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗻𝗲 is among my favorite songs of this style. All reverence to the duo 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 & 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐥. ⛧
Favorite track: Hounds Of The Shining One.

about

Two brand-new entities hereby announce a symbiosis of uncanny, mysterious audial projections under the sign of “Within, Without”. Peasant introduces two tracks where its dark pagan energy takes the listener on an ecstatic journey through the haunted shores of England. A twofold sonic manifestation, the duo presents an opening track featuring ominous Black Metal gloom marked by commanding vocals and a sharp aggressive pace where harsh riffs and exquisite guitar leads create an atmosphere of chaos and dread. “The Trees Find Light To Hold Earth's Grasp” reveal an ethereal, sinister composition highlighted by acoustic guitars and minimal percussion driven by a stunning eerie chanting.

Somalgia purveys a dreamlike atmosphere of disorder, a sonic blend of different shades similar to Peasant in its approach yet distinct in its results. The first track merges hostile Black Metal riffing with keyboard patterns reminiscent of the 1970s in sound and arrangement, topped by a slower atmospheric middle part featuring clean vocals and where the aforementioned dreamlike vibe shines brighter. The second track and last track is a full-on ambient work filled with simple yet effective keyboard layers, an ideal ending to a multifaceted journey.
